Sleeping Beauty Gets Released

The surgeon's optimism about Tir's recovery was proven to be warranted when Tir was released from the hospital exactly a week after he'd been admitted. Amidst a crowd of nurses who had gathered to say goodbye to their favorite patient, Peter happily wheeled his lover out to a waiting car that Moragainne had sent to pick them up and take them to her home. The generous offer to have Tir and Peter stay with her would have been impossible to refuse. Peter knew that Tir would feel more relaxed in the warmth of a real home rather than the hotel, and he would have more space for his temporary office. It was an ideal situation. Peter had made his phone calls, and while he'd been disappointed that Inez said she wouldn't be joining them, he did understand that while he thought of her as a mother, the truth was she was Will's mom and her taking a trip to Ireland to be with Peter would upset him. Things were already on shaky ground with Will and Peter didn't want to run the risk of losing him. He was dreading telling him about the engagement, but he knew that it would need to be done.

Once they were settled in the car, Peter put his arm around Tir so his lover could rest against him. "How're you feeling, baby? We can still have an ambulance take you if you don't think you'll be comfortable."

"Don't take this the wrong way, baby, but I think we'd end up killing each other if we were together every minute of the day," Peter laughed, giving Tir a soft kiss. "I just want to be able to give you nice things like a beautiful place to live and people at our beck and call."

"I'd say y' have the right on that one, luv." Tir laughed as he slipped an arm around Peter, sinking further back into the couch and against the Yank. "But y' know I'd like t' be the one at yer beck and call."

"Oh yeah?" Peter said, settling in a little more and holding Tir a little tighter. "I like that idea, too. I would be a very benevolent master, of course, and make sure to let you know just how much I appreciate you."

"Aye and just how would y' appreciate me?" Tir grinned and laid a hand on Peter chest toying with the top button of the Yank's shirt.

Peter chuckled. "Well, let's see. I think it would have to involve certain body parts and making them feel really, really good."

"Well bein' a very literal man, I'm thinkin' I'll need a detailed description." Tir began unbuttoning Peter's shirt, his fingers exploring each uncovered inch.

Peter's skin tingled where Tir was touching him, making him groan softly and kiss him again. "I'd start with your mouth," he whispered, slowly running his tongue along Tir's bottom lip. "You've got the best mouth."

One hand still working on the shirt and the skin under it, Tir brought the other up to tangle in Peter's hair. "Got a nice one there y'self, mate." He breathed, voice going soft and husky.

"I'm guessing you're starting to feel a little better," Peter said, his voice amused but thick with desire.

"Aye, y're m' favorite drug, Yank." Tir whispered against Peter's mouth, knowing they were both making promises he wouldn't be able to keep yet, but he was never one to turn down a tease.

"That's a good thing," Peter smiled, "because I can't think of anything I'd rather have you on than me."

"Was more wishin' it could be in me." Tir grinned and bit Peter's lip gently. "But I reckon we'll be waitin' on that score for a bit, aye?"

"Yeah, but it'll do us good to be kept at a simmer for a while," Peter said, moaning softly as he gave Tir slow, teasing kisses. "I love wanting you so badly I can taste it."

"Aye, but I'd rather be tastin' you, luv." Tir purred into the kisses that left him aching with need. His hands clutched at Peter's shoulders as he tried not to arch up against him and he silently cursed Colm for managing to screw up yet one more thing in his life for him, albeit temporarily.

"You will soon," Peter said, feeling breathless as Tir held onto him. "And I'm not going to do a damn thing until you can, too." Jerking off would definitely give him some relief, but it wouldn't be fair to Tir or as much fun without him.

"You know, the doctor said not t' do anythin' strenuous, but there's nothin strenuous in layin' on the bed with m' mouth open." Tir gave Peter an innocent cherubic grin.

"You are such a tease, baby," Peter said with a throaty laugh. "But I can't let you do that. Not if you can't get off, too."

"And who's t' be sayin' I won't?" He grinned, cocking his head to one side and giving Peter a wicked leer.

Peter shook his head. "No, if you do, you'll strain something and maybe do irreparable damage."

He couldn't resist sticking out his tongue like a child. "Have t' be the voice of reason, don' y', mate."

"Someone has to," Peter shrugged and laughed, "and you have no idea how weird it is that it's me."

"Oh and y're the naughty one then mostly?" Tir cupped Peter's cheek, just wanting to sit there and soak in that laugh and those twinkling eyes.

"Yup, I'm usually the troublemaker," Peter said, rubbing his cheek against Tir's palm. "Look at you making me all responsible."

"Aye and if I had t' be responsible who'd be yer pet then?" Tir grinned softly at the slight scratch of stubble against his skin.

"I don't want to think of a time when you wouldn't be my beautiful pet," Peter said, his voice gentle as he smiled at the man he loved.
